Gaming products supplier Wazdan has further grown the capabilities of its Volatility Levels feature, now offering casino managers an opportunity to set a default level for their players, announced the company on Wednesday.
The improvement allows operators to offer games with a default Volatility Level of their preference. For instance, a casino can launch a product aimed at VIP players with high volatility, or low volatility for recreational players. The level is handled by the casino manager in cooperation with the supplier.
“High volatility brings bigger wins but less often, and low volatility ushers in more frequent but smaller wins,” explains the company in a press release. Players looking for a balanced experience can use the Standard mode, in which win size and frequency are locked in to provide “a more level playing experience.”
On the new capabilities of the Volatility Levels feature, Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan, said: “We stand apart in the industry as the only supplier to offer games with thee different levels of volatility.”
By extending that level of customization to Casino Managers, the company is able “to bring added value to operators” through this unique feature. “Strengthening our relationship with operator partners is key, and this marks another positive step for us and our popular adjustable features,” added Hyla.
Among its main benefits, Volatility Levels give partners more control over retention, as one game offers multiple gameplay options through its adjustable volatility, thus appealing to a broader base of players.
“Giving command of volatility to casino managers allows operators to have three versions of the same game to hand,” describes the company. This results in operators being able to offer a more diverse array of gaming experiences, based on player preference.
Wazdan’s Volatility Levels has recently been nominated for Industry Innovation of the Year at the upcoming SBC Latinoamérica Awards. The winners of the total 22 categories will be announced during a ceremony at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami on October 28, 2021, the second day of the conference and exhibition.
Earlier this month, Wazdan released Power of Gods: Hades, its first game with custom volatility for the bonus round.
