Those who attend Peru Gaming Show (PGS), which is taking place December 1-2 at the Jockey de Lima Exposition Center in Peru, will have the opportunity to meet the CT Gaming team at their stand. Georgi Koprinarov, General Manager for Latin America, shared with Yogonet his outlook on the return to a relative normalcy amid the pandemic, and his analysis on the company’s achievements in Peru.
Peru Gaming Show returns with its face-to-face event, and CT Gaming is a confirmed exhibitor. What do you expect for this trade show to come back?
Since the exhibition industry took a hit like never before, 2021 has seen an accelerating comeback in more and more regions across the globe. Throughout this, the gaming industry is showing its adaptability to accommodate changing conditions toward new normal. More than ever, post-pandemic, the fundamental need of societies and communities to come together is clear. Events are a strategic tool to drive developments and implementations sustainably. We are excited to be together face-to-face at the Peru Gaming Show because it is the most expedient way to make connections. The event brings together an entire industry in one location, and we are happy to meet and greet all.
These two years of the pandemic, mainly due to all the sanitary restrictions, has driven up the growth of online gaming (casino, sports betting, virtual sports, esports and lotteries). Unlike other regions, these sectors were not very mature in Latin America. What progress have you made with your white label platform and online gaming catalogue? How many have Latin American operators already chosen these products? Is there room for growth for CT Interactive in this market segment?
Latin America is a gaming ‘hot spot’ with a sophisticated market at all levels. CT Gaming has a long-standing tradition at the market with over 14 years of presence. In the iGaming segment, CT Interactive has gained its share and has earned a reputation as a respected, top-level, tier-one brand in the region.
The games offered are well excepted and sought after by the players. The company records its high appreciation for the trust, loyalty and support of all leading operators we work with. Our games and solutions are now firmly established as the country’s number one ‘must have’ gaming entertainment product. Now we work to flat out to better the results we gained and to extend our market presence.
In recent years, Peru has gained recognition as a stable and regulated gambling market with a significant number of slot machine saloons and great sports betting offers, both land-based and online (a sector with no regulation yet). What is the diagnosis of the Peruvian market today?
CT Gaming has a significant share in the Peruvian market, and we constantly work to maintain our standards and continue in our customers’ preferences. The country has been set for example for years for its regulation in the land-based segment. It is expected to regulate its online industry as well, and considering that it comes as no surprise that it features high on our targeted list for expansion in the online vertical.
To regulate business activities makes companies develop with complete transparency. Peru could become a market model for Latin America.
CT Gaming celebrated its 22nd anniversary in Peru. What’s next?
As we continue to bring new and exciting products to market, we are fully committed to providing our clients and partners with all the support they need and meeting Peru’s ever increasingly sophisticated and knowledgeable players’ wish for greater levels of gaming entertainment.
