Nowadays, Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. are sitting at the top of the division’s rankings. These two men are both undefeated in their careers and have wins over truly elite competition. They’re both serious knockout punchers, too.
Fans have wanted to see the Crawford vs. Spence fight for years. Money disputes have kept it from taking place, though. Incredibly, these disputes have continued and this fight still has not managed to come together. This weekend, Terence Crawford spoke to the media and claimed that the fight against Errol is “history” and will never come together.
“I’m not even worried about Errol Spence anymore. I already told everybody that fight is history,” Terence said. “I’m not thinking or worried about Errol Spence anymore. That fight is beyond me.”
Terence has repeatedly called for the money for this bout to split 50-50. Errol Spence Jr., however, believes he is entitled to the 60-40 split for this fight. It’s a shame and one that fans have become accustomed to. Until this money issue can be settled, these men will never compete in the ring.
