Who Will Be in the Next Fantastic Four Movie?

who-will-be-in-the-next-fantastic-four-movie?

Marvel hasn’t released a major blockbuster since Spider-Man: Far From Home back in July of 2019. That doesn’t mean the massive studio company has been taking time off, though. There are several massive Marvel projects set to release over the next few years. Now, fans are able to bet on casting for MCU’s Fantastic Four through one of the best online sportsbooks in the US!

There has been series hype building for the upcoming Fantastic Four film set to release sometime in the next couple of years. Several big names have been thrown around to play the film’s lead characters. Today, I’ll be breaking down the odds for who ends up getting these roles.

Let’s check it out.

Kevin Feige Confirms Marvel is Planning Another Fantastic Four Film

Longtime Marvel fans are well-aware of the Fantastic Four franchise. A beloved comic series, this MCU storyline was finally created into a major film in 2005. It struggled with critics, most of whom felt the acting, uneven storyline, and overall production left a lot to be desired.

This film ended up being a success at the box office and a sequel was quickly announced. In 2007, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer hit the big screen. Once again, this movie received mostly poor reviews but brought in big money at the theatres.

Marvel didn’t seem interested in rebooting this series after the Silver Surfer was released. It wasn’t until 2015 that another Fantastic Four was released. This film featured an entirely new cast and ended being one of Marvel’s biggest flops to date. With just a 9% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and almost no profit at the box office, the franchise seemed doomed.

That is why fans were so surprised when Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, announced that the studio was taking another swing at these characters. This time, Marvel doesn’t plan to cut any corners. With popularity at an all-time high, Marvel wants to ensure they finally get this film right.

It’s clear that casting plays a massive role in the success of Marvel’s major films. Feige and other officials at Marvel are now working to secure the perfect actors to fit the Fantastic Four roles. Fans are busy speculating who will be announced.

Some are even choosing to wager on who ends up being cast!

Here’s How to Bet on the Casting for MCU’s Fantastic Four

To say fans are hopeful for a good edition of Fantastic Four is an understatement. Marvel has tried and failed three times to get this franchise out of the shadows. Many believe that the fourth time will be the charm.

The higher-ups at Marvel seem willing to back up the Brink’s truck to ensure success. Rumors are already beginning to swirl over who will play these iconic characters.

Bovada, one of the safest and most popular online gambling websites in the US, is offering some incredible odds on the casting of MCU’s Fantastic Four. Below is a quick breakdown of those odds!

Bet on Who Will be Cast at “Doctor Doom”

Victor Von Doom, known by most as “Doctor Doom” was the first true villain to appear in the Fantastic Four series. He’s considered the archenemy of the characters and has played a big role in the entire MCU. Doom is expected to be the main villain in Marvel’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot and there are some exciting possibilities for who might get the role.

Giancarlo Esposito: +350

After his role as Gus Fring in Breaking Bad, Giancarlo Esposito became one of the most iconic screen villains alive. He’s been in several major projects since that time and is now the frontrunner to play Doctor Doom. Esposito would almost certainly bring new life to the fan-favorite villain.

Cillian Murphy: +500

Is there anything that Cillian Murphy can’t do? He’s not relegated to the villain role. In fact, Murphy has played a wide range of roles throughout his career. Some believe he’s at his best when turning on his dark side, though. The Peaky Blinders lead character holds odds of +500 to get this role.

Michael Fassbender: +500

Micheal Fassbender is another man capable of playing almost any kind of role. His appearances as David in the recent Alien franchises has solidified his spot as one of the creepiest movie villains out there right now. It wouldn’t be much of a surprise to see Marvel announce the UK actor as Fantastic Four’s next villain.

Wes Bentley: +900

I had to list an underdog, right? Wes Bently might be one of those actors you recognize but can’t name. It’s a shame, as he is one of the most talented actors alive. Wes has gone to the dark side on several occasions (including his time on American Horror Story: Freak Show) and could turn that on once again with Doctor Doom.

Bet On Who Will Be Cast as “Human Torch”

The 2005-2007 editions of the Fantastic Four famously featured Chris Evans as “Human Torch.” It’s funny, as Evans went on to play as Captain America in one of Marvel’s most popular characters ever. Many of those interested in betting on the casting for MCU’s Fantastic Four are focused solely on who ends up getting this role.

Anthony Ramos: +400

Leading the odds is 29-year-old, Anthony Ramos. Some know him for his dual role on Hamilton. Others might recognize him as Ramon in A Star is Born. Ramos is one of Hollywood’s best up and comers and is rumored to be in serious consideration to take the Human Torch part.

Zac Efron: +400

Zac Efron has come a long way since his days on the Disney Channel. He’s now a bonafide superstar helping to boost the box office sales in almost every movie he stars in. Bovada gives Efron odds of +400 of securing his first role in the MCU.

Riz Ahmed: +500

Riz Ahmed is another one of the most talented young actors alive today. If you haven’t seen him in Amazon’s new film, The Sound of Metal, go do so now. Ahmed would be an excellent addition to the Marvel Universe and could earn bettors some serious money if he gets the part in this one.

Andrew Garfield: +1500

Could we see a character that’s already made an appearance in a Marvel-related movie come back in another role? It’s possible, yet unlikely. Garfield played Spider-Man back in 2012 and 2014 and not many expect him to take a completely different superhero role anytime soon. Anything is possible though, right?

Bet On Who Will Be Cast as “Invisible Woman”

Invisible Woman is one of Marvel’s most underrated characters. In fact, she’s been named as the most powerful member of the Fantastic Four and perhaps one of the top players in Marvel, overall. This character has been waiting for the perfect actress and hopefully, that’s what we get this time around. This is entertainment betting at its best and could end up paying off in a big way.

Emily Blunt: +350

It’s easy to see why so many fans feel Emily Blunt would be perfect for this role. She has played the strong, noble character on many occasions but has yet to break into the superhero genre. She is the betting favorite here at +350 and some rumors claim that Blunt is Marvel’s top choice right now.

Lily James: +500

Just about every time Lily James steps onto the screen, she is fantastic. There are high expectations for the 31-year-old and a worldwide breakout could be one the horizon if she secures the role of Invisible Woman. If Blunt is unable to take this part, James would serve as a perfect replacement.

Samara Weaving: +500

Samara Weaving, who might actually be Margot Robbie with different makeup, has slowly become a big name in the film industry. 2020 was a big year for her, as she’s taken part in four major films. Entertainment betting sites now give her odds of +500 to receive her biggest role to date.

Mackenzie Davis: +1200

The biggest underdog to receive the Invisible Woman role is Mackenzie Davis. Many will know her for her performance in the “San Junipero” episode of Black Mirror. She’s destined to get a huge role sooner or later. Those planning to bet on the casting for MCU’s Fantastic Four could earn some serious cash if Davis gets the nod.

Bet On Who Will Be Cast as “Mr. Fantastic”

As the name might suggest, “Mr. Fantastic” is the leader of the Fantastic Four. This role might be the most important to cast right. There’s nothing worse than having a main character that just doesn’t feel right. There are some incredible odds for the possible actors to take the role.

John Krasinski: +225

TV sitcom character-turned-action hero John Krasinski is one of the biggest names in Hollywood right now. He’s even found success in the directing game with the A Quiet Place films. Krasinski is now the favorite to play “Mr. Fantastic” alongside his wife, Emily Blunt, who might play the Invisible Woman.

John David Washington: +400

Film buffs might recognize John David Washington from his recent leading role in Christopher Nolan’s new film, Tenet. He passed that test in just about every way and is now set for another massive part in the future.

Washington has odds of +400 to become the next Mr. Fantastic.

Dan Stevens: +450

We could see Dan Stevens entering the MCU sometime soon. The London-based actor has been involved in several massive roles recently including Russian singer Alexander Lemtov in Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. He’s given odds of +450 to capture the new Fantastic Four’s lead role.

William Jackson Harper: +1000

The biggest underdog to become Mr. Fantastic is William Jackson Harper. He is still an up and coming actor, well-known for his time on NBC’s The Good Place. This would be Harper’s biggest role to date. This could also earn bettors some serious cash.

Bet On Who Will Be Cast as “The Thing”

The final option to bet on the casting for MCU’s Fantastic Four through one of the best online gambling sites in the country is on who ends up getting the role of “The Thing.” This is a character you have probably seen; the yellow rock-man tends to stick out.

No one has been able to nail this character yet.

Hopefully, Marvel ends up getting this character right in this fourth edition of the franchise.

Stephen Graham: +400

There are several reports claiming that Stephen Graham is the front-runner to secure the role as “The Thing.” He killed it recently as Anthony Provenzano in The Irishman and had another standout performance in Greyhound this year. Marvel knows what it wants and most feel that Stephen Graham would fit the role as The Thing perfectly.

Dean Norris: +500

Sometimes, an actor takes a role that stays with them forever. That’s certainly the case with Dean Morris, who is known around the world as Hank from Breaking Bad. Norris seems like a perfect fit for The Thing and is the second betting favorite to get the part.

Laz Alonso: +550

Laz Alonso is another character that could easily fit the role of The Thing. He recently burst onto screens around the world for his role as MM in the Amazon series, The Boys. That role could serve as a nice segway into a part as one of the Fantastic Four’s most popular characters.

Dwayne Johnson: +1800

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is now the highest-paid actor in Hollywood. With that in mind, would it make sense for him to take a sort of supporting role as The Thing? Probably not. Some who are choosing to bet on the casting for MCU’s Fantastic Four seem to think so, though. Who knows! If the money is right, Johnson might be up for the gig.

Marvel Studios has some incredible projects planned over the next few years. That includes the upcoming “Wanda Vision” and “Loki” set to debut on Disney+ soon.

Bovada is now the best place to bet on the casting for MCU’s Fantastic Four. Make sure to check the site out today for a full list of odds on every single actor rumored to take a role in this upcoming blockbuster!
