The UK Gambling Commission announced Thursday it has decided to suspend the operating license of the iGaming website bet-at-home.com as it carries out a review under section 116 of the Gambling Act 2005. The Virginia Lottery announced Friday its report on sports wagering activity for May 2022. Bettors wagered $351.4 million during the month, a 55% rise compared to May 2021 when only seven operators were active, half the number active today. Michigan-based Pokagon Band of Potawatomi announced it is opening a new recruitment center in South Bend as it begins the hiring process of hundreds of workers for the expanded Four Winds Casino and hotel that is currently under construction.
