The economic recovery from the Covid pandemic continues for Las Vegas Strip casinos. The Nevada Gaming Control Board has reported March was the 3rd highest monthly gambling revenue ever recorded for resorts up and down the Boulevard, while the state reached it’s 2nd highest revenue figured of all time. The Nevada Gaming Control Board reported Thursday that the state’s $1.355 billion gaming revenue figure in March trailed only July 2021, which holds the record at $1.59 billion. TransUnion’s quarterly digital fraud analysis issued Thursday found the suspected fraud rate year-over-year significantly increased in gambling, insurance and logistics, while it declined in industries such as financial services, telecommunications and retail.
