New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy has signed the casino PILOT bill into law, which gives tax relief to Atlantic City’s casinos by removing sports and online gaming revenues -the two fastest-growing verticals in the state’s casino industry- from the calculation of their payments in lieu of taxes. Pennsylvania has posted a new record in overall gaming revenue in November, the PA Gaming Control Board reported. The record month was highlighted by sports wagering revenue 70% above the previous monthly high. The figures show total gaming and fantasy contests revenue generated in the state during the month was a record $432 million, which represents an increase of 52% compared to the revenue generated in the same month last year. The New Jersey Legislature passed on Monday the new casino PILOT bill, which seeks to give tax relief to Atlantic City’s casinos. The St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin and Gov. Tony Evers on Monday signed a new compact amendment, which will permit event wagering at St. Croix casinos in the state.  The gambling expansion allows casinos and affiliate locations in Wisconsin to offer event wagering on sports and non-sports.
