M aryland’s 6 casinos combined have reported a single-month record in gaming revenue of $180,145,516 during July. This is the third time in 5 months that the state’s casinos have set a new revenue record.  Last month’s total represents an increase of 28.7% ($40.2 million) on a year-over-year comparison. T he Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced August 17 record monthly revenue for the month of July, totaling $423.65 million generated from all forms of gaming regulated by the entity. The figures respond to revenue including slot machines, table games, iGaming, sports wagering, fantasy contests and VGTs, with revenue from land-based casinos particularly strong for the past month as patrons return. M GM Resorts International announced Monday that salaried and new employees at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi and Gold Strike Casino in Tunica are required to get COVID-19 vaccinations.  Both Scarlet Pearl and Beau Rivage management said they are looking to expand the vaccination requirements for hourly staff members.
