FBM Foundation, the humanitarian cooperation arm of the FBM gaming brand, has made a significant contribution to the Philippine Children’s Medical Center in Manila. As part of its ‘LIVE. LOVE. HOPE.’ donation program, the foundation provided over ₱1,000,000 ($17,990) in donations to aid the center’s daily operations and distributed grocery packs and educational supplies, benefiting 500 young patients.
The initiative, led by Randy Urtula and Lulu Barreras, along with 15 volunteers, aimed to bring festive cheer to the medical center and support its daily operations.
The program included the distribution of grocery packs, educational toys, art materials, reading books, puzzle books, and board books, with a focus on enhancing the learning, creativity, and literacy of children undergoing medical treatment.
“Looking forward, FBM Foundation remains dedicated to uplifting communities and creating a lasting legacy of support, compassion, and empowerment. We believe in building a brighter future for all and the debuting ‘LIVE.LOVE.HOPE.’ program is part of this plan with direct action in the Health and Educational areas”, shared Vitor Francisco, Director at FBM Foundation.
The company has been undertaking several community and charitable initiatives in the region. Recently, it organized the fifth action of its “Bayanihan Para sa Kababayan” program to assist the community in the Villa Maria Aeta Resettlement Area in Pampanga by providing the local indigenous community food, necessity kits, and educational supplies with the help of 20 volunteers.
In September, FBM Foundation launched the Puno Para sa Kinabukasan sustainability action. As part of the program, the organization planted trees and saplings with the help of over 20 volunteers at the renowned Masungi Georeserve in Rizal.
