Sports betting and iGaming operator Codere Online has reported its financial results for the third quarter of the year. For the period ended September 30, total revenue was €28.9 million ($29.9 million), 51% above Q3 2021, while net gaming revenue was €30.6 million ($31.7 million), 54% above the same period last year. Nebraska’s first casino has already contributed nearly $800,000 to a state property tax relief fund so far, according to a report from the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission. The figures correspond to the first five weeks of operation of WarHorse Casino in Lincoln, and include $597,854 during the month of October. All in all, the property has produced $1.1 million in tax revenue since it opened in late September. Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency’s Director, John A. Martin, announced Thursday that the state will launch online sports wagering on November 23, the day before Thanksgiving. On Wednesday, Maryland’s Sports Wagering Application Review Commission (SWARC) approved 10 mobile sports betting licenses, with seven ready to launch. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has reported gaming revenue results for October. During the last month, the combined revenue general from all forms of gaming amounted to $450.2 million, an increase of 5.7% compared to last year’s October. The increase was driven by a record-setting performance of online casino gaming in the Keystone State. Online gaming services and content provider Evolution announced Thursday the launch of its second New Jersey live casino studio, the company’s fifth serving the US iGaming market. The Michigan Gaming Control Board announced Thursday the state’s commercial and tribal operators reported combined total gross receipts and gross sports betting receipts of $190.2 million for October, which shows an increase of 7.7% compared to September results of $176.5 million.  Internet gaming gross receipts for October set a Michigan record of $141 million. The Virginia Lottery Board has unanimously approved Rivers Casino Portsmouth’s operator license. It is the second one issued in the state, as the first one was awarded in April to Bristol’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, which opened as a temporary property in July.  The $300 million project is slated to become fully operational by early 2023. International Game Technology (IGT) announced Thursday that its subsidiary IGT Canada Solutions has signed a five-year contract extension with Loto-Québec to deliver an enhanced version of its INTELLIGEN video lottery central system software and related components.
