D etroit’s casinos brought in nearly $109.7 million in aggregate revenue while operating at limited capacity in May, according to the Michigan Gaming Control Board. That’s about even with April’s results, when the three venues netted nearly $109 million in revenue. Former partner Asian American Entertainment Corporation seeks damages of about $12B L as Vegas Sands is facing a billionaire lawsuit from a former partner in a Macau court, Asian American Entertainment Corporation, headed by Taiwanese businessman Marshall Hao, who is seeking damages of around 70% of Sands’ Macau profits from 2004 to 2022 over an alleged breach of contract for a casino license.
